HERE's a part of the answer i sent to riotyourownmother (not sure of the name, i'll check it ^^) for how to do that sounds i'm posting it until i can post the video where i explain it all :) when you have a wah pedal, you plug in from in to out, as usual and it's an enveloppe filter which you an control with your foot, the usual wah now if you plug your guitar in the out of the wah and the amp in the in your wah becomes an oscillator (like in vintage synth) note that you have to put the wha in fully opened position to get some sound and you might aswell want to turn all your guitar tones and volumes up to 10 to be sure there's sound coming you cannot control the frequency of the oscillator (the pitch) right on with the wah, you will only get one sound at a certain pitch, then you can change it a little by turning your tone knobs, but the bigger bend you can get is like a 4th (on my guitar it is) so i use external effects to change the pitch such as my whammy, my line 6 echo park Delay (i do hat a lot in concert, mess with the oscilltor and the delay) or even another wah , octaver it's totally like a synth (i love synth, tha's how i got the idea to do that with my guitar) you have a basic oscillator + effects filters etc...so you can add basically anything you want right after, be sure that the wah pedal is the first pedal right after your guitar or it might not work now for the cut effect, this comes right from the position of the tone knobs, on a certain position you get ...
